Architecture as an anchor for arrival and experience
Status: In Progress

Set along the coastline of Virgin Gorda, this 100-room resort is organized around a central cylindrical lobby that anchors the site and connects three distinct wings of guest accommodations. Carved from this volume, a crescent-shaped atrium opens the building vertically, bringing light into the core while framing movement between reception, conference spaces, spa, and dining. The lobby acts as both threshold and gathering space, directing guests outward toward the landscape, pools, and ocean beyond.
Stepping with the natural terrain, the architecture integrates vernacular Caribbean materials—timber, plaster, and thatch—with contemporary spatial organization. Circulation paths weave through gardens and water features, linking private rooms with shared amenities. The project positions architecture as a backdrop for leisure and connection, where landscape, program, and movement converge to shape the resort experience.
